F&S Software has been designed to help customers in the selection and sizing of the filter.
This software takes you step by step to the definition of the ordering code of your filter.
Starting from the type of application, suction , return, inline and spin on , the software prompts you to enter the values ​​of the parameters needed for the design , such as: the operating pressure , the type of connection ( threaded , flanged , manifold, etc. . ) , the fluid type and operating temperatures .
The type of fluid, at times, determines the materials of some of the components (gaskets , and others) and prevents variation .
The main parameter of the entire sizing is the pressure differential between the input and the output of the filter that is required in the initial calculation of the data.
Whenever we ask the software to " CALCULATE " , our system in automatic mode , will suggest the size of the filter taking into account not exceed , " DP max" , which we introduced .
After running the automatic sizing you will have access to manual mode and change the settings using the drop down menu.
Other parameters , such as bypass setting or indicators , which do not affect the sizing will be required from time to time , to complete the ordering code.
